St David Group

How long have you worked in the town centre?

 I worked at The Entertainer since about a month after opening (They didn't give me the job at first...), followed by now working for St David Group.  This means I have now worked in the Town Centre for over 7 years!

Why did you get involved with Barrow BID?

I think the next few years can be really transformational for Barrow and it's high-street, with exciting projects around The Market, Duke Street and BAE Investment in Portland Walk especially - it's an exciting time to get stuck in and try and bring back some excitement and positivity to the town centre.

Favourite BID event?

There have been so many excellent initiatives, and often I've most enjoyed the treasure hunt Saturdays, simple events that give families something to do of a weekend but if pushed I'd have to say Dino Day! It's fantastic to see the town centre so full of families with young children - getting them into the town centre is crucial and it was great to see.

Tell us something most people wouldn’t know about you?

I've ran Musical Theatre Companies for the last ten years in one way or another - next up, Grease in August '23!
