Barrow town centre comes alive in July 2027 with Barrow's biggest classic car show!
The Festival of Transport is a fantastic day out for all the family, featuring an impressive display of classic and prestige vehicles, alongside street entertainment and activities for all ages.
Enjoy a packed schedule of events throughout the day, including the thrilling Extreme Mountain Bike Show Arena as one of the main highlights. Take your time exploring the streets filled with vehicles and stay entertained with a range of free activities, including live shows, interactive workshops and much more.
The day concludes with a special procession of vehicles from 4:30pm - don’t miss the chance to watch them as they make their way through the town centre!

From the M6 motorway, exit at Junction 36 and continue along the A590 signposted Barrow.
Pass through the market town of Ulverston and through the village of Lindal-in-Furness, then take the 2nd exit at the roundabout prior to Dalton-in-Furness. At the next roundabout, take the 2nd exit straight-on and head down the hill.
At the following roundabout, take the 1st exit along Park Road, which will take you the scenic route into Barrow-in-Furness. Take the 2nd exit at the final roundabout and head along Abbey Road, past the Abbey House Hotel, and continue until you reach the town centre.
