The Barrow BID Event Grant is designed to make Barrow town centre a better, busier and brighter place to visit and help support both business and other organisations to delivery events to attract footfall to Barrow town centre.

The grant will cover 50% of eligible project costs and the payment is exclusive of VAT.

The grant scheme is aimed at businesses located within the Barrow BID area or organisations, groups, clubs, societies, public sector bodies or private companies seeking to deliver a event or initiative within the Barrow BID area, which will have a positive impact on the town centre or local businesses.

Eligible applicants are:

• Barrow BID Levy Payers
• New businesses moving into current qualifying BID Levy hereditaments
• Voluntary BID Levy Payers (Max grant £1,000)
• Organisations & companies seeking to deliver events/schemes for benefit of the town centre (Max grant £1,000) 

Projects could include:

• Events, projects and initiatives which will benefit the town centre or local businesses.
• Initiatives that promote improvements to outside space, community space or facilities.
