This Christmas, Barrow BID is helping create a brighter, more festive Barrow Town Centre by offering FREE Christmas trees to local businesses.
Businesses can choose between a 4–5ft or 5–6ft tree, perfect for shop windows, entrances, offices, or staff areas. We encourage displays in windows or outside during the day (with trees brought inside overnight) to help build a welcoming festive atmosphere across the town. All trees must be located on business premises.
All trees will be sourced from a local Barrow-in-Furness supplier, supporting the local economy while enhancing Christmas displays across the town centre.
Delivery will take place on Friday 28th November between 10am and 4pm, and businesses must be available to accept delivery during this time. If this is not possible, arrangements must be made in advance with the Barrow BID team to collect your tree.
Registration closes at 5pm on Monday 24th November, so be sure to secure your free Christmas tree and be part of creating a festive Barrow town centre this holiday season.
This festive season, Barrow BID is hosting a Christmas Window Display Competition for businesses across Barrow Town Centre, with prizes for the best displays.
We’ll also be awarding a prize for the best-decorated Christmas tree, including the most creative or innovative use of a tree to promote your business. It’s a great way to enhance your shop front, attract customers, and stand out during the Christmas period in Barrow.

The offer is open to existing BID Levy payers (who have paid their 2024/25 BID Levy).
The closing date to register for a tree is 5pm on Monday 24th November.
