How long have I had a town centre business: 

I opened my first indoor market stall in April 2019, I expanded into my second stall in March 2020 followed by a move onto the high steeet in June 2021.  2 years later in June 2023 I expanded once more into my current shop premises on Dalton Road.

Why did I get involved with Barrow BID :

I believe that our town centre is a community asset that needs to be nurtured into its next phase of life. The town centre has always been important to me as a place to socialise, shop and spend leisure time and I want to help that continue to be the case for the next generation. I am passionate about independent businesses and want to help them grow and find avenues to getting onto the high street.

Favourite BID project:

I loved the Festival of Transport this year. The turn out and atmosphere was amazing, it really proved that Barrow can host high class events. The sunshine definitely played a part in that too!

Something most people wouldn’t know:

I met my husband at ballroom dancing classes and we used to compete all over the country. I loved dancing the cha cha cha and jive, but we couldn’t carry off that much fake tan these days!
