Autumn is fast approaching, and Barrow town centre is alive with new menus, great nights out and plenty of things to do. Spend this weekend in the town centre and discover something new!

1. Treat yourself to Greggs new Autumn menu


📍Greggs, Dalton Road

We're not sure how to feel about Greggs' new Steak and Stilton Bake, but luckily, if you try it and don't like it you can swap it for a regular Steak Bake with their 'But I don't like Stilton insurance'!

The Autumn menu is packed with legendary combinations like the Chicken and Pepperoni Pizza Toastie, Buffalo Chicken Baguette - and of course, the return of the Steak and Stilton Bake.

2. Celebrate the Summer Reading Challenge ending with a full day of crafts

📍Barrow Library, Ramsden Square

📅 Saturday 12th September, 10am-3pm

The final celebration of the Summer Reading Challenge is here, with Barrow Library hosting all the kids craft activities you may have missed over the Summer. It's also the final day to collect your certificate and medal for completing the Summer Reading Challenge - so make sure you pop along and celebrate the end of a Summer full of reading fun!

3. Unwind with a pint at one of Barrow's cosiest bars

Looking to unwind after a busy week? Look no further than Tailors, with its cosy atmosphere and great range of drinks, you're guaranteed a great night out.

4. Start Spooky Season in style with seasonal treats

📍Tina's Custom Cakes, Barrow Market, Portland Walk

Already in the Halloween spirit? Tina's Custom Cakes new Halloween range is here, with cookies, cakes and spooky gingerbread mummies! Find her in Barrow Market on Portland Walk and pick up some tasty treats for the weekend.

5. Enjoy a great night out with a new menu and live music at your local

📅 Saturday 12th September, 6pm

The Albion is kicking off the weekend with a brand new menu, plus live music from local favourite BitchCraft, this Saturday from 6pm. Enjoy a night of great music and delicious food at one of Barrow's favourite pubs.
