Scheme now closed for 2025

Following the success of previous years, Barrow BID is continuing its commitment to creating a brighter, more attractive Barrow Town Centre by offering all businesses a FREE hanging basket, plant tub, or tray of plants (for those with existing planters, tubs, or garden space).

We encourage businesses to display hanging baskets on shop fronts, and place plant pots in windows or communal areas to help enhance the look and feel of our town centre streets and create a more welcoming environment for visitors.

Please note that Barrow BID is unable to install hanging baskets or fittings, so businesses must ensure appropriate fixtures are already in place.

All baskets and plants will be supplied by a local business, Tythe Barn Nurseries, and will be delivered to participating businesses in June.

Who can apply for a FREE Hanging Basket?

This offer is available to Barrow BID levy-paying businesses who have paid their 2024/25 BID levy.

Registration closes at 5pm on Monday 9th June. Delivery will take place within one week of the closing date, between 9am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.

If we are unable to access your premises during this time, please contact us to arrange collection of your hanging basket or plant tub from the Barrow BID office.
