Funding Support Application

Barrow BID has launched this 'Special Projects' Fund to enable not-for-profit groups, charities, organisations and clubs to apply for funding to fund their initiative, project or event. The funding is available for initiatives and events that benefit the town centre and each application will be discussed by the Barrow BID board at our monthly board meetings, which take place on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.  

You can apply for up to £2,000 from Barrow BID for your event, project or initiative. Your initiative must benefit Barrow Town Centre and where possible, meet one of the aims of Barrow BID. We encourage groups to get match funding for projects and the Barrow BID board will put more emphasis on funding projects that are match funded and have a clear extension strategy to become sustainable. Barrow BID will not fund ongoing maintenance costs, staff costs or administration costs.
