Would you like to become a member of Barrow BID and have a say in the Regeneration of Barrow Town Centre?

The Barrow Business Improvement District (BID) was established in September 2016 when town centre businesses voted to create a BID area encompassing the town centre in Barrow in Furness. Once established, every business within the BID area MUST pay a BID Levy based on 1.5% of their rateable value (as of 1st September 2016).

If you already pay the BID Levy you may think that you are already a BID Member, but this is not the case. Due to legal issues, you need to complete a form to become a Barrow BID Member which gives you the following benefits:

  • The opportunity to become a board member
  • The opportunity to attend the AGM and Open Meetings and have a say on the regeneration of the town
  • Voting rights at the AGM and when the BID goes to a future ballot
  • The opportunity to access any BID initiatives

To apply to become a member, download our member application form, print, complete and return it to:

Barrow BID Secretary,
125 Ramsden Square,
Barrow-In-Furness,
Cumbria, LA14 1XA
